Description
Chick Embryo Extract (CEE) is a cell culture medium component, used in the supplementation of certain growth media formulations. CEE provides a source of essential growth factors and has been used in the expansion of many types of stem cells. Eggs for the chicken embryos, species Bovans Goldline, are collected from registered flocks found to be free from clinical signs of notifiable disease. The material is processed, 0.2 µm filtered and aseptically filled into bottles. The CEE volume before lyophilization is 10 mL. This product contains antibiotics – Penicillin, Streptomycin, and Amphotericin.
